I wrote a lunch tote and placemat pattern last summer for a sewing book being released in July by C&T Publishing. I was surprised and honored that I was given this opportunity. Here is a picture of the cover:
The crafters that will be featured are very talented bloggers and/or Etsy sellers. Also, the bag on the cover is not mine. I’m not sure who is the lucky covergirl ! I will post more pics when I get my copies !
Here is the link to the book on C&T’s website … http://www.ctpub.com/productdetails.cfm?PC=1890

p.s. I was suffering from Strep at the time. I can’t even believe I made the deadline to get my pattern in, being so ill !
I took a little envelope apart and traced a template onto a piece of paper, carefully marking the fold lines. I then cut the shape out with an Exacto knife and cutting mat. Next I fold and secure the flaps of the envelope with papercrafting adhesive.I think they would make great gift tags.
Here are some more pictures my gift from Bettina. I use it to tote around all my hand sewing supplies.
I received another of my Christmas presents in the mail a few days ago (i got exactly what i wanted this year- hee hee !)…
I received Meg’s book yesterday. I ordered it from her website http://sewliberated.typepad.com/sew_liberated/ and received a signed copy from her within 3 days people ! She gets a gold star for customer service ! I love her idea of using ribbon to make tab top curtains- see pictures below :
