Here are some things I’m fiddling around with…My crafty exploits usually start with some fiddling and then some false starts. I am not one of those people who pick out a pattern and then buy the exact yardage of fabric or yarn. I always buy a ball of yarn or fabric that catches my eye and think up a project to use it on. Pictured here are Plymouth Yarn brand baby alpaca grande hand dye (blue), Anna Maria Horner Little Folks (square dance), and an organic cotton red yarn.

I ended up finishing the white scarf. My daughter wore it to school today- she loves it. Now I’ve started another scarf with a bulky lambswool/acrylic Lion brand yarn. I wonder what I’ll be knitting when it’s 80 degrees out come July?

hours of knitting ! I am making a soft scarf for my mother out of some bamboo (huh ?) yarn .
I don’t really know what I’m doing or where I’m going with this knitting thing but I enjoy being able to work on a project while being with my family in the living room instead of off in the sewing area. Plus it’s fun to knit in the dr.’s office and in the car.
